Assignment: Research "Publishers of Children's Books"

My task for this blog is to research "Publishers of Children's Books" for our literary agents and our clients. Book publishing, especially finding children's book publishers, can be an especially daunting task for writers looking to get published.

My initial research into publishers of children's books started of course with Google. The following sites are of interest to literary agents and writers seeking information about children's book publishers. I consider these my top sites about children's book publishers.

Submissions to most publishers of children's books should come from a literary agent. Our literary agency is always seeking writers of children's books. As you can see from the lists below, this is a big industry and there are more publishers of children's books than you might think.
